Evening dress in silk taffeta.
Fitted body gathered low at the back and V-neck at the front. Puffed skirt in three parts, finished at the hem with embroidered red lace ribbon. This evening dress is built over an internal structure, similar to the crinolines of the late 19th century, over which the threepuffed shapes have been sewn at different lengths. The dress has an asymmetrical hemline, which would evolve over time into the so-called "peacock tail". The gathering at the lower shoulders and V-neck highlight the minimalist concept achieved by means of the moulage technique to create simple and sumptious volumes.
